I have always had a passion for working with children, and have decided at this stage in life to finish her working career in a field that brings the most joy: caring for children. My past professional experience includes working as a former Firefighter & First Responder and working in the hospital newborn nursery.
Originally from Kentucky, Sharlene has lived in Florida for 18 years. For the past 3 three years I have been substitute nannying and babysitting for families here in my community.
In my free time I enjoy landscaping, vegetable gardening, and following SEC football and basketball, the TB Lightning, Buccaneers, and Rays.
Fun Fact: I am the President of the South Seminole Heights Civic Association here in Tampa and recently spearheaded a sneaker drive for Broward Elementary School children, rallying the community to provide 49 pair of new sneakers for children who had no closed-toe shoes for school activities.
