Years of experience have made it clear that parents often need child care on short notice. We will always do our best to accommodate every babysitter need your family may have. Do not hesitate to call last minute. We are highly convenient and a safe option for parents who are always on the go!

We work hard to accommodate short term permanent sitter requests, these are services needing less than 6 months of care. ($50 placement fee)
Afterschool Services- include pick up from school, transportation home and to extra curricular activities. These requests are for 1 school year commitment only. Prices vary depending on request and transportation. ($25-35) .
On on one services starting $20 per hour.
Terms
• Prices are per individual family.
• Minimum of 3 hours are needed OR 3 hour payment to sitter is required.
• If transportation is required for your request please accommodate for gas.
• We do NOT accommodate nanny requests (part time or full time).
• All requests that require the sitter to commute 1 hour or more will incur an additional transportation charge.
• On-Call service cancellation fee is $25.
• If you are requesting childcare while your child/children are sick, there will be an additional $25 fee.
• $25 fee will be applied to any last minute sitting requests. (Requests made within 24 hours)
• $30 fee for consultations with sitters prior to sitting. (1 hour only)

Cancellation Fee
If a cancellation is made within 24 hours prior to the scheduled sitting, 50% of the time requested is owed.
For example, 5 hours requested for one child at $16.00/hr= $80.00. In this case, we would ask for $40.00.
No cancellation fee with over 24 hours notice.
If it is a true medical emergency, we will work with you to accommodate your needs.

How We Find Out Sitters
At Doublemint Sitting, our sitters come from the heart of the community. We believe the best caregivers are already connected, trusted, and rooted in the families they serve.
We primarily find our sitters through community events, word of mouth, and trusted local networks. Many of our caregivers are referred to us by families, fellow sitters, educators, and community partners who already know and trust them.
We also actively recruit through social media babysitting groups, church communities, sorority and collegiate organizations, and long-standing community partnerships throughout the Tampa Bay area. This approach allows us to build a diverse, compassionate team of caregivers who share our values and commitment to children.
Every sitter who joins Doublemint Sitting goes through a thorough screening and onboarding process to ensure they meet our high standards for safety, professionalism, and care. By sourcing sitters locally and intentionally, we’re able to create meaningful matches and build long-term relationships with the families we serve.
